[freetds] Certificate information?

Hi

I'm using FreeTDS to connect to MS SQL Server 2008R2.
The actual use is monitoring, by using Nagios, which uses a perl
script based on DBD::Sybase.

The SQL server has been configured with an SSL certificate, and
configured to only serve clients using encryption.
I'm looking for a way to monitor the validity of the SSL certificate.

Since FreeTDS uses OpenSSL/GnuTLS, is there some way to expose
certificate information from the library?
