[freetds] FreeTDS and Report Server Models?

Hello,

can FreeTDS be used to connect to an SQL Server 2008 database Report Server Model?

In Business Intelligence Visual Studio 2008, the data source connection string looks like this:

server=https://r2.myserver.com/reportserver2k8;datasource=/XXX/Database/Models/Database

Connection string looks quite odd. Depends from the protocol used.
Surely https is not TDS
